Again at 5pm today, Malaysia will play against Cambodia on the 3rd match of the 2011 Indonesia SEA Games. Fortunately, this match will be slightly easy for Malaysia before facing Indonesia in the last group stage match. However, will the national coach, Ong Kim Swee continue to set up his best 11 to play in the match, or to rest important players before the last match? We'll see it this evening.

Tomorrow 9th of November 5pm, Malaysia will play against defending champions, Thailand on the group rounds of the 2011 Indonesia SEA Games. Yesterday, Indonesia thrashed Cambodia 6-0 to take an advantage to lead the group. This made us more pressured to make it into the semi-finals. To qualify for the semi-finals, we can only afford to have 2 draws and 2 wins, which 1 draw had already been wasted. So we expect to win tomorrow's match and the match against Cambodia. We also hope that a draw between hosts Indonesia will happen.
Yesterday, the Malaysian team lost a chance to brag 3 points in the opening match against Singapore. However, we still get 1 point from a 0-0 draw on that match. On the 14th minute, Singapore almost scored a goal from a great pass. However, the shot went straight to Khairul Fahmi and the Singaporeans lost a chance to lead the match. Later in the 35th minute, Baddrol took a long shot outside the penalty box but the shot flew over the right corner of the crossbar. Again on the 40th minute, Fadhli of Singapore got pass 3 players but failed to pass Khairul Fahmi with his weak shot in the penalty box. However in the 55th minute, Malaysia should have got a penalty from a bad tackle from Singapore but the match referee denied it. In the 83rd minute, Baddrol almost got a goal with a shot from a volley.
5pm today, Malaysia will be facing arch rivals Singapore at Gelaro Bung Karno Senayan Stadium, Jakarta for the first round of the Group A Indonesia SEA Games. Previously, Malaysia had been beaten 5 - 3 on aggregate on the 2014 Brazil World Cup Qualifiers. So, this time will be a good time to take revenge, having them back without any points. However, Gary Steven Robbat and Wan Zack Haikal will not be playing this match as their injury are not fully recovered. But either Nazmi, Irfan or Gurusamy will replace their places this evening. Lets hope that Malaysia will get 3 points from this match.
