After having a disappointment for the last few matches, Arsenal are stunned again by the 14th-ranked Blackburn yesterday. This made Arsenal ranked 15th now, just right after Blackburn in the 2011-2012 season.

On the 10th minute, a nice through ball gave Gervinho a chance and conceded a goal from his right foot. Later in the 25th minute Yakubu also scored a goal form a nice through ball from the back to equalize the score. But in 34th minute, Arteta scored a goal in the penalty box to lead back the game. Again Blackburn equalized the score when Song score an own goal from a free kick outside the penalty box. The score maintained 2-2 till the end of the first half.

On the second half, Yakubu scored another goal from a corner kick to lead the game for the first time. Just after 9 minutes,  Koscielny scored an own goal to let Blackburn to a 2 goal lead. On the 85th minute, Chamakh scored a goal from a cross to add 1 goal to the score. However, Arsenal failed to equalize it and Blackburn went back with 3 points.
